We all agree that single-use plastics are a problem and that the world doesn’t need more of them. Take Haven offers a solution to pump lotions packaged in plastic.

Even if a lotion bottle is technically recyclable, the recycling rates of such plastics are low. Furthermore, while the plastic bottle may be recyclable, the pump is almost never recyclable! 

Plastics can fragment into small pieces called micro-plastics, which can cause such plastics to enter into our food stream.

Take Haven is giving consumers a much more sustainable choice!

We ship all of our lotion bars in a recyclable cardboard box, using second-use packing materials hence reducing the amount of garbage that ends up in landfills.

We strategically formulate and infuse organic, non-comedogenic oils with herbs and botanicals to lock in nutrients that will nourish you on a physical and energetic level. Calm + Nourish is designed for those who suffer from eczema, psoriasis or other skin irritation. It's a sweet bar that is a favorite among many.

There are no overpowering or unnatural scents in our lotion bars! Gently glide the bar over dry skin after bathing or warm it in the palms of your hands before application. Feel and see the difference.

Ingredients: Organic safflower oil, organic sweet almond oil, and organic apricot oils infused with chamomile, calendula, rosehips, and comfrey, cold-pressed, unrefined kokum butter, beeswax, and vitamin E. The subtle aromatics of lavender and rosemary are gentle and soothing, and they awaken upon application.

The creative force behind Take Haven and its founder, Sara, has a long history and love for natural, clean, all-natural and artful living. She grew up shopping in health foods stores before healthy living became mainstream, crafted her way through childhood, studied art and design in college, worked as a 500-hour certified yoga instructor teaching group and individual classes, workshops and retreats, became a certified Ayurvedic Health Coach, and a certified Functional Nutrition Counselor.
